Behavioral scientist Patrick Fagan conducted fresh study as a follow on inside research in 2015, which monitored results of 3D on adults. The new study tests children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physiological words.
Behavioral scientist Patrick Fagan said, ‘We found that, the same as for adults, 3D films can act as ‘brain training’ games and help come up with children ‘smarter’ in the short term.’
Dr. Richard Woolfson is a Child psychologist and he said, ‘An outing to the cinema has long been an enjoyable activity for parents and children, and 3D movies certainly improve the overall family fun. But results of this research show that young viewers can also benefit cognitively and psychologically from this exciting visual carrier.’
During the experiment 60 children between age 7-14 were monitored. One group watched a 20-minute clip of visual-feast Disney’s The Jungle Book in 3D and the second group watched comparable thing clip in 2d. It is not doubt that both on the group enjoyed watching his year’s biggest grossing film to this point at UK box offices but important question was how did did their different viewing experiences affect them afterwards.
