Mother and father arrested three men regarding a kidney smuggling racket allegedly luring jobless people to hospitals in India for having their kidneys removed and sold, a police official said Friday. Two men in their 40s were arrested in Kathmandu in addition a 36-year-old was arrested a tourist town of Pokhara a week ago, said Sarbendra Khanal, a senior superintendent of police in Kathmandu. The three men scouted around the country looking for people seeking jobs, brought them to Kathmandu, where their blood group was identified geared to with that of potential recipients, Khanal added. A 19-year-old man from Gorkha district, west of Kathmandu, fell into their trap in July.
