The CIAA Chief Lok Man Singh Karki issued an appeal, claimed the accusations made against him as baseless. Karki currently faces the impeachment motion at the Parliament while some cases against him are being reviewed by the Top court. In his nearly 1,900-word appeal published in both English and Nepali languages on personal his website, Karki claimed, “The present day allegations and conspiracies against me have clearly been influenced and guided with a group of people whose only motive is to defame and demoralise my eyes.” “Despite all this, I have always tried to deliver my best in the past and I would prefer to assure that I will maintain my zeal and enthusiasm for the betterment of my motherland.”
